The Silver Dart Room

Room Description

The Silver Dart was the first powered, heavier than air, flight in the British Commonwealth and was conducted by the Aerial Experimentation Society here in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, Canada. Alexander Graham Bell and his Associates in the society watched the Silver Dart Take Flight on a frozen Baddeck Bay on February 23, 1909. This unit is named in honour of the spirit and exploratory nature of the inventors and many Baddeck residents who worked on these world leading inventions.

Your own private, 2 level lighthouse themed suite. Each unit has a full amenities small garage perfect for a couple of motorcycles/bikes/Kayaks/exotic car or just a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The 2nd level features a Queen bed with a hand painted headboard in an open concept room with high ceilings and our unique lighthouse views of the Bras d’Or Lake. A spacious kitchenette containing a small fridge/freezer, micro wave, induction burner and coffee pot along with a three piece ensuite with rain head shower.
